Biography
Chee-Seng enjoys contemplating life. His experience in psychological research and self-awareness has led him to believe that everything has both bright and dark sides. He is passionate about helping people realize their potential and advocates for the use of scientific methods to explore ways to improve well-being. He has conducted training on creativity, growth mindset, and psychological wellness for schools, organizations, and communities.
Chee-Seng is a research fellow at INTI International University and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman in Malaysia, as well as Shinawatra University in Thailand. He serves as an associate editor for Applied Research in Quality of Life, BMC Psychology, Frontiers in Psychology, and Humanities and Social Sciences Communications. Additionally, he is a member of the editorial boards for Discover Psychology, the Journal of Pacific Rim Psychology, and Makara Human Behavior Studies in Asia.

His research focuses on people's optimal functioning, such as creativity and well-being, and the development and validation of psychological measurements. He is also interested in investigating the factors linked to a more or less contented life while single. He refers to this area of study as positive singlehood.
