Biography
I was born in the U.K. and started teaching English in Spain, before teaching at universities in China and then Japan, where I was also an active member of JALT, volunteering with the Brain SIG and JALT publications. Most recently, I worked as a language editor at the Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language, before joining WKU. I continue to enjoy reading about the brain, as well as watching movies and cycling, and I’m looking forward to resuming my Chinese studies.
Research interests
She is interested in vocabulary research, particularly into the nature and connections of the mental lexicon, and embodied theories of cognition and language.
