Rufus - Onome Isiorho

Biography

Lecturer Onome Rufus Isiorho is from the United Kingdom. He received his Bachelor's degree from the renowned Birkbeck University of London, and he has an M.A. focusing on Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages using Media-Assisted Language Learning tools. Lecturer Rufus has various interests: Art, Music, Metaphysics and Philosophy and endeavours to create lessons based on his students and his mutual interests. These interests have also been the basis of his undertaking to motivate various types of students. Lecturer Rufus appraises undergraduates' learning throughout the semester and keeps them abreast of their progress at every stage, allowing them to self-regulate their advancement within a given course.

Research interests

Lecturer Rufus Isiorho is interested in developing research projects that combine LEAP methodologies and practices with neuroscience developments. The research will investigate how the human brain learns, the neuro-connections that facilitate the process, and how to simplify the information for L2 learners. The goal is to provide English language learners with the information they need to foster a greater understanding of the components that constitute language acquisition and learning in general.
