Biography

Wei Chen has been a Lecturer in the College of Liberal Arts since September 2021, primarily teaching political science and English. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2021, he taught diplomacy, English, and French at a university in southern China. Alongside his teaching roles, he has experience working with diplomatic representations, international organizations, and writing for various newspapers. His current research focuses on China’s public diplomacy and soft power strategies in Europe.

Research interests

International Relations, Public Diplomacy, Sino-EU Relations, Diaspora Studies, Cross-Strait Relations.
