Biography

Dr. Cho is originally from South Korea, but she spent her formative years in the United States and completed her Ph.D. in the United Kingdom. Before joining WKU, she taught linguistics courses at Ohio University. Dr. Cho’s love for music naturally spills into her research and teaching — she’s fascinated by the musical aspects of language, especially intonation.

Dr. Cho is all about staying active and eating healthy. Whenever she finds some free time, she’s probably running around, doing grocery shopping, cooking, or running around a grocery store.

Emotional intonation, Acoustic analysis, Second language speaking, and AI and Human emotional interaction
