Biography

Dr. Rosalie Muertigue Palaroan, a Filipina who sets her heart on educating young people/students brings with her a wealth of teaching and research. She has spent more than 2 decades teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the Philippines and Fiji. She is a graduate of Doctor of Education major in Educational Management at the University of Southern Philippines, Cebu City, Philippines, and obtained her Master’s in Education major in Social Science at Visayas State University, Philippines. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts major in Political Science at the University of San Carlos, Philippines, and earned a Diploma in Special Education.

She has published various papers in an international peer-reviewed journal and will be publishing more of her works/research. Her research interest focuses on social problems and development education. Currently, she is writing a paper titled “Pedagogical Love: An Approach to Teaching and Learning”. Dr. Palaroan frequently works with postgraduate students who are interested in researching social problems and educational issues. Her teaching experience with diverse students made her teaching and learning meaningful and inspired her to enroll in Ph.D. in Development Education. Dr. Rosalie always wins the heart of the students with humility and friendship.
