Biography

I’m Paul and work at Wenzhou Kean University for the College of Liberal Arts as a Composition Lecturer. My hometown is a small seaside town in the North East of England called Bridlington. I have worked in English language teaching since 1998 and China is the 9th country I have lived at worked in and I am very happy to be here. I previously worked in Russia, Saudi Arabia, Korea, Malaysia, Portugal, Ukraine, Oman, and Kazakhstan. My roles have focused on a wide range of teaching contexts and educational management.

I live here with my wife, Zoe, who is also a lecturer at WKU. In my free time I love to read as much as possible and enjoy listening to music and trying to build my vinyl record collection. We also love travelling and we hope to explore as much of China as we can and already have a long list of places we want to visit.
